I will try to explain this as well as I can. I just installed Ultimate Bulletin Board Classic v6.2.1.3 on a Win 2k Server box With the Assistance of the help file provided with in. The trouble I'm having is I have to grant "everyone" Read, Write, and modify Rights to the cgi-bin, members, Folder so they can access them and create a membership on the board, what I'm finding is if someone puts in the URL right into there browser they can modify their membership and view / modify all the cgi files since "everyone" has Rights to these folders "AKA if they put in http://ip.here.com/cgi-bin/cp.cgi they can modify this file " I know I have to be missing something simple but no matter what I try I can not seem to stop this from happening. if I remove the Rights in Win 2k then I get errors saying file can not be created.. what is the best way to fix this?

there should be an index.html file within your Members directory - if that's not there, it should be in the zip file. Make sure that this file is there - it will keep your Members directory from being accessible via a browser.
