Do you have to log in each time you visit your own board? Is there not someway to have the cookies recognize you where you wouldn't have to log in each time you click on?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I am new but I did check the last 30 days worth of posts and could not find an answer. Thanks in advance for any help!

You shouldn't have to login with each visit, UBB should be setting a cookie that sticks. Check to make sure your browser is appropriately accepting cookies. Also, are any other users experiencing this cookie problem at your UBB?

Just got the site open today, so no one else has registered.

Went to a friends UBB site, and it recognized me. I go to my board and it says I am not logged on, so log on or register.

I checked the options on my IE browser, and it says cookies are enabled, but I wonder because some page the other day said it was having a hard time with cookies and my machine. Maybe my ZoneAlarm is acting up?

I thought I had seen some previous versions give you an option in your profile to "save info on this computer". Don't see that on mine.

UBB5 asked; UBB6 doesn't (it happens automagically).

NOTE: The cookies are on a per-board basis. Logging in here and staying logged in doesn't affect any other UBBs.

Thanks Graeme, today the cookies are working. I guess when I lowered the level of security on ZoneAlarm, it took care of it.

Now if I could get to my board instead of receiving internal server 500 error messages, I would be happy!
