Hi,

I have upgraded to 6.7.0, rebuild all metadata, and now I get the following error:

Hack-Versuch wurde gespeichert oder ungültige Benutzerdatei gefunden. ('00000841')

Evertything works, only ultimatebb.cgi does not work...

When I rebuild the meberindex, the last indexfile will not be updated, what can I do...?

Does a file exist for 841 in your member directory?

It works now, thanks to LK, who helped me!

In ubb_lib.cgi I have changed

$vars_config{'MaxMemFields'} = 43; # maximum profile fields + 1. hard coded. That means it has to be changed here, Allen, not in vars_misc itself.

The 43 to 100

Thanks LK!!!

Lol, to 100? wow, never seen that number so high lol... Don't you think say 50 would be sufficient?

that's overkill. Even the most modded boards never need to go over say 70

Well, i guess he'll never have to worry about it again, till his next upgrade when he forgets and asks again ...

It's not an overkill because if you set MaxMemFields to 100 it doesn't make all profiles 100 lines high, it just accepts files with 100 lines... It's not good theoretically in case the user does some stuff to extend a profile field from one line to two, but it doesn't really matter whether you put 100 or 70 AFAIK.

from my experience, as soon as someone updates their profile, it will go up to 100, with x-100 being empty lines, but there

Doesn't mattter whether you set it at 70, 100, or 1000. If you raise it over the number of fields you are actually using you've lost all protections the feature provides. At that point what difference does it make?

Well I only raised if for the ones I used, so 60 if I use those fields is better than 60 if I don't use those fields?

download https://www.ubbcentral.com/cgi-bin/download/dllite.cgi?id=03
find:
6.1x
add below:
6.7x

run it, then in ubb_lib.cgi change that line back to 43.

Just wanted to note that after you run this file successfully, you should delete it from the server because otherwise it may become a big security breach.
