Hi, a while ago I turned on the feature "Short spider-friendly URLs" in my forum. I am not convinced that any of the pages are being indexed in Google however. Is there some way for me to check if Google is actually including them in its search engine? Cheers

Sure - what's the URL to your forum?

Does your .htaccess file for your site (or robots.txt) have any lines for your bulletin board (cgi path or noncgi path?)?

Google is spidering you: http://www.google.com/search?q=allinurl:superiorpics.com/cgi-bin&filter=0 Note the filter = 0. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I'd check out Yahoo as well, but their site restriction is domain level rather than "any string in the URL" level.

It's one of the "functions" of google, you can even have it convert USD to CAD if you know the search string... Just type "allinurl:" and your url without the www.
