Probably I will sell my domain to another person, including the board. This person doesn't want UBB as they are using a free BB. So I need to sell my UBB license to another person. How can I get the written permission from IP?

Hi Jango: As you know, it's against the licenseholder's agreement to sell your license without written permission of Infopop. This permission is only given to very special cases. If you believe you have a special case and wish to apply for written permission, please fill out a support ticket, and our management staff can make a decision. Thanks, Kate

I've gotten permission on a number of cases for donation of licenses for ubb test boards for modification testing; donno what theil do with selling though

I don't understand why it must be a special case. This person simply refused to use UBB and want use the same forum software as he did for 2 years....Honestly, I don't think it's a special case, just want some money from my domain + site + forum

It must be a special case as InfoPop doesn't support the re-selling of licenses.

Exactly how I felt; thank goodness I found someone who had a spare to donate in the name of development; still have to find another (and a ubb.threads); good luck none the less

My last donated license was from TheGeeksInc if I recall correctly they have two licenses due to some "special" sale heh... Was about a year ago or so i think; haven't read the license revisions since then though; probably be best to file a suppor ticket with an inquery.
