One of the actions in the Member Management area is to send a mass e-mail. Is there a way to print a membership report or export to a comma delimited file or xls file?

Choose email then select export list; it'll then give you options to write it to server or export to browser as well as the option for commadelimited.

Thanks Gizmo. What fields can you export when you do it this way?

The built in emailer features only export email addresses. To export member data, use the built in export utility in version 6.7.

Charles... could you point me in the right direction for the built in export utility. Is this a command line or built into the administration tool? I don't think I've seen it.

What exactly would you want? I wrote a user notes script which could easily be adapted for more fields

I would like to export all member profile fields to a spreadsheet or database. I can take it from there. Within the custom fields, I had members put address information etc. Stinks that Infopop doesn't offer native address, city, state, zip, country plus other custom fields, so I had to use one customer fields to poor in the whole address.
Does that help?

ok, I've never dealt with making a table file or anything, but I can create a comma-delimited file, each line containing one member's entire profile. Is that anything close to something you can use?

What a great script! - thanx Ian! This kinda script should have been made available as a standard admin management tool by UBB/Groupee/whatever-their-name-is-today, shame on them!
I've got 7988 members to manage, and increasing daily - I wish I never started my forum with this UBB Classic product, now I've got to figure how to bail Classic and move on to better forum software ...
