one of my usere got this when they replied, and I guess they deleted/blanked out the reply number:

where is it logged? How do I see this?

and she said something about her isp being notified? does UBB automatically do this?

The ISP is not notified. The UBB has no way of communitcating that except to the logfile.

Hack attempt logged is basically warning. This is logged to noncgihacklog.cgi where it will tell you what was attempted.

is that log accessible thru the control panel? If not, how do I get to it?

You can download the file from your FTP and view it in notepad.

I did this, and it is ... let's say a challenge to read. I thought maybe there was a program to display it that made it a bit more administrator friendly.

The file is meant mainly/only for being examined by Infopop support.
