I am using UBB.classic 6.3.0.1 and want to get rid of someone from the Registration Queue, but I do not want email going out to him, nor do I want to delete him from the database. I just want to pretend he doesn't exist, but still don't want him re-using the email address.

How do I do this? Thanks for any help!

There's no way to do what you wish to do in 6.3.

In 6.7, which you should really upgrade to, you can decline him from the queue, and not send out a mail using an option at the bottom.

Perhaps you can just edit his email address to be nonexistant, decline him, then edit his email address back? That way the mail would go nowhere.

In the Registration Queue Update Member Info page, I was not able to edit a member's email address. I thought of that yesterday as well <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

It looks like the only option in 6.3.0.1 to avoid approving a member is to delete that person hanging in the queue by checking "delete this member upon submit".

That will still send out a decline notice via email.

You can edit his email address by doing a search for his member number on the member search page, then clicking on his profile in the results.
