There used to be a way in the old UBB version to edit posts without a notation showing that a post has been edited. Is this feature no longer available, or is it hidden somewhere in the control panel? <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Quoting CC from your last thread on this same issue here: Originally posted by Charles Capps: [qb] That was a bug in older versions. The bug has been corrected. Admins & mods may not edit user posts without notification. [/qb]

OK, thanks so much. Unfortunate though, as I thought that was an excellent feature or "bug". <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

yeh, a lot of us liked this "bug" <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ... You could head over to UBBDev and request a modification for "Anonymous Administrative Edits" <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

If you are an administrator, and you want to edit a post without a notification display, I think you can do this by logging in as the member whose post you want to edit.
