Just curious folks...

I'm running 6.7.0. I'd like to add an additional forum or two to the forums I have running now. My question is~

Is adding additional forums as easy as it appears? After I ad the forums is there a lot of maintenence that needs to be ran? And lastly, will the board have to be closed in order to ad the forums?

Adding forums is as easy as it looks - just click the link and fill out the form. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

No additional maintenance is needed, no need to close the board.

One more question if you don't mind...

When I go into my control panel, under "Forum Settings", I have a list 11 possible fields for forums. I'm currently using 9 of them. That leaves two which are blank fields.

Instead of clicking on the link at the bottom that says "Ad New Forum". Could I simply name the two empty fields then check the coresponding "visible" check box to ad a new forum?

Yes, you should also click the link that says "details" to fill out the forum description.
