I am trying to determine which files I need to edit to hide the password field under Edit my Profile. We want to disable this feature as everything is set through a portal.

I have laready made it so i can change the password in the control panel with a hack I received form here months ago, not I just need to hide it from the front end users.

Anyone have any ideas on this - anyone?

You will probably want to check over at UBBDev.com and see if a modification is available. This isn't a stock behavior.

I have been poking around, but haven't seen anything yet.

Hmm. If you don't mind making users also unable to update their email addresses (which requires that they re-enter their password), you could just remove the password bits from the edit profile template.

And how would one go about that?

Look at the HTML starting around line 415 of Templates/public_edit_profile.pl.
