UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.classic UBB.classic 6 Support Moderator or Admin access?

I just set up a couple of moderators to help me out for the first time and I have a quick question. Can moderators ban users? The moderator guide I downloaded from Infopop says they can, but my moderators don't have access to the member management tab. The moderator guide is a few years old, so is it's information just out of date?

Do I have to give my moderators administrative access in order to allow them to ban members?

Only Administrators are allowed to ban users. Keep in mind that by giving your moderators Admin access, they can do everything in the control panel. The guide was probably written in that way because Administrators are moderators too <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
