Anyone know how to display streaming video from a URL as an avatar? <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

You would have to add the extension as an allowed extension for custom avatars.

I wouldn't recommend allowing avi, mpg, et al. in avatars as that could potentially slow page loads, and possibly make your community vulnerable to exploit.

Any ideas on how to limit the extension to be allowable for just my avatar as the admin?

there's no way to control who can use what extensions - sorry.
