Hi,

i'm currently trying to find out wot's going wrong with my board.

Havy users are reporting cookie errors so i want to import the board into a fresh installed one.

So far so good, have read the guidelines and started the import process.

But at a certain point in time, the import process start asking for the administrators login again and again.

Is that a feature?

Rather than using the import facility, you should probably use the Backup/Transfer guide to try to move to a fresh board.

Another option would be to replace your scripts with stock copies instead of reinstalling.

i wanted to be sure i did not get any rubbish from the old board. imho with the backup/transfer option that could be the case.

or am i wrong?

The Backup and Transfer will retain all of your member data and posts, and maintain the associations between them. By using the Import/Export, you will have seemingly random member numbers, and topic assignments.

the last option is no option. if i want to listen to my users i need to have some facilities on the server that are not 'yet?' included into the official version.

thinks like im, calendar, hide private forums and shop.

i'll try transfer now.
