UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.classic UBB.classic 5 Support General Settings won't update

I just moved to a new host & after I re-uploaded all my files, I went to update General Settings but when I clicked "Submit General Settings Now" it just gave me a blank white screen. How do I fix this??? I checked all the permissions & they looked right too.

I have version 5.45c

More than likely it is a permission problem. Please post a DirInfo from WS_FTP on the cgi directory and on the www or root directory in this thread.

Well, your permissions look right-on. If you need immediate assistance, you'll probably need to fill out a support ticket with Infopop. I'm guessing the easiest way to fix this is with FTP and admin access via Infopop.

ya know, I remember tha old days where people would actually TRY to figure out problems. Now it seems like all tha mods just say get a support ticket.

Man, I aint got time for crap like that. I want answers now. My board hasnt been up for over a week cuz of moving hosts & now its been an extra 2 days cuz of this BS. Out of all the people I asked for help, I would think somebody on this board would know tha answer.

The problem you are describing can only be attributed to paths or permissions. Since you've checked them and they are correct, there is something else.

Without going into the system, it's impossible to know. Infopop has a support system and they will check it out for you.
