UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.classic UBB.classic 5 Support Private-protected forum doesn't work

I've set up a forum that a password and in which only admins/mods can access. Somehow, it doesn't seem to work because everyone was able to access it without having to enter the password or being an administrator. I've triple check my forum settings and everything seems alright...can anyone please help me? Thanks.

You have made signifigant modifications to your UBB. It is very likely that they are causing the problems. Revert to a stock UBB, then try again....

O.k. I started from scratch but I still can't get it to password protect the forum.

Which one of the forums are you trying to make Private? Did you run an Update Threads after doing so?

Actually, I password protected the first forum "Test 1" and update the threads and yet it still didn't work.

You have only restricted posting permissions in that forum. You have not made it private. Change the security settings on the forum. Please re-examine the Forum Settings -> Details control panel.
