Ruben	In addition you may wish to allow members to turn off the side islands completely in their preferences. be it just the right and or the left column. Your choice. that would be cp>portal & islands>Portal Allow Members To Turn Off The Left Column Allow Members To Turn Off The Right Column Even though it says portal it impacts all views They will get a extra option in their preference setting on the ones you enable.
