on the go its difficult to keep up with what
i should be going back to after reading it.

folders sounds a good idea - but only for certain groups - must be group based, so that 'premium members' can benefit.

How about different folders for PTs that are user defined? My sugguestion for how PT's work in 7.0 was to emulate the UBB.Classic modification "PM Inbox System" which allowed users to specify folders that their pm's belong in
