So I want to allow my users to edit their posts all the time. I don't want a time limit on their ability to do that. So in my control panel I have set my "Edit Post Limit" to 999999999 which I think equals about 11,574 days that is now allowed.
My question is...is this the only way to do that or is there a better way to accomplish this?
Thanks, winter

Right now, that's the best way to give unlimited time for edit

I'd like to see the ability to disable the edit post timer, I don't use it myself at my forums, but I know allen does at UBBDev...
Another option would be to be able to disable it on a per forum basis, which would be useful for "coding" forums.

I'm gonna join the ganging up on Rick and agree that there should be a way to disable it.

would still be nice to have a global setting so I don't have to edit 50 forums to disable it. (Yes, I know I can just do a query, but I don't wanna)
