The litte yellow moderator 'M' stick to the user if I degrade him from mod to user. How do I remove it for this user? There is no option for it in the admin section or I dont found it.

I assume you already demoted him and the gif still appears as a moderator. I would think that if a member is downgraded to a user then the gif would not appear anymore. Maybe if you have done this already you need to clear cache or rebuild from the control panel.

Clearing the cache (forum and browser) dont help. The is still there. His status is changed from moderatror to user and the color of the name change from green to normal. /update. Found it. The field user_group_images in the table user_profile dont change back to NULL and contain "a:1:{i:0;i:3;}" If I clear it in the table it is gone. Seems that something is missing in the script

Like I said in a couple different threads, even though we're working on 8.0, we'll be putting out bug fix releases as needed.

Yes, I tried this myself. If you delete the person as moderator in a forum he is still in the moderator group. So you have to goto cp>>membermanagement and delete him from the moderator group. But he still appears as a moderator as far as the icon appears next to his name. So the only way to clear the image out is to login as the member and edit profile, the moderator icon is not gone after the previous steps but you still have to submit to delete it from the board.
Bet you Rick never anticipated this when he added custom icons to groups.
To many steps for me to deal with. So I consider this a bug. At least for the default groups. Not sure how to deal with custom groups with custom icons.
