Summer Fun!

A "little" project I started a year or so ago... still have a bit more to do.

I like the looks of that. Is this for big kids, little kids, or both?

Some say it's for the big kid (me) but I solemnly swear it is for my kids! smile

A great example of recycling for your youngsters. What to do with the drum after you've had the cable installed. wink

I've seen people make outdoor furniture with this stuff.

That is so cool. Nice work and good recycling there.

Thanks guys!

My wife is 5' 6" and the spool was from Germany. The reason it was so big was that it held 500' of 6" RF Waveguide for a TV tower.

Waveguide can't be kinked so the inner drum is roughly 9' in diameter and the spool (from flange to flange) was 8' wide.

I must have looked at that thing 100 times over the years and only until a year ago May I had the bright idea I could make a play house out of it.

Things just sort of got out of hand since then! laugh

Wow, I need you to come finish my attempted treehouse/fort for my kids. I finished the frame last summer, and that's as far as I've gotten wink
