Listed here are IBM P/N 00JY856 FRU 49Y7972 version of Intel X540-T2 dual 10Gbps 10GBase-T RJ-45 Ethernet PCIe 2.1 x8 network adapters. These are great 10Gb NICs for PCIe 2.1 capable servers. This card comes with LOW PROFILE bracket only! Please note that because this is a IBM variant of the X540-T2, it does not have the Intel Yottamark label on it. CAUTION: Although this NIC will work in a PCIe x4 slot, because it is a PCIe 2.1 card, x4 is not enough bandwidth (16Gbps) for both 10Gbps ports, which requires at least 20Gbps. It is highly recommended this card be installed in a PCIe x8 capable slot.
