Angled PC Fan Bracket – Optimized Airflow for Showcase & Fish Tank Cases
This angled fan shroud was purpose-built to fix a common cooling headache in glass-heavy “showcase” or “fish tank” style PC builds. Most of these cases fire intake air straight into the opposite side panel, creating dead zones and barely touching your actual hardware. Our bracket gently redirects that incoming airflow so it no longer slams head-on into the glass or panel. Instead of the classic “mushroom” effect where air spreads uselessly against the wall, the new angled path boosts velocity, cuts turbulence, and gives your exhaust fans a much cleaner, more efficient route to pull cool air across the motherboard, GPU, and CPU.It won’t blast air straight at the board like a dedicated duct, but the improved flow path dramatically increases how effectively fresh air moves through the case—exactly what high-performance showcase builds need.
Important Mounting Note
This bracket is designed for sideways (horizontal) installation only, exactly as shown in the product photos. Mounting it facing upward or downward will cause two of the four case screw holes to misalign.
Fan Compatibility
- Works with standard 120 mm or 140 mm fans (open-frame or closed-frame).
- Not intended for daisy-chained interlocking fans (Phanteks D30, Lian Li Uni Fan, etc.). Many users have successfully installed them with minor trimming if needed.
- Closed-frame fans require shorter or different screws (standard-length screws won’t reach through the frame).
- Slight manufacturing variances between brands mean hole spacing can differ by 0.5–1 mm. Perfect alignment isn’t guaranteed on every fan model, but the bracket fits closely on all popular 120/140 mm fans.
