PLEASE NOTE: This product does NOT include mounting hardware! Standard PC Fan screws are necessary to mount the bracket.
This angled PC fan bracket was designed specifically to help better direct airflow of "showcase" or "fish tank" style PC cases towards internal components. Many of these cases blow intake air directly into the opposite wall of the case, offering little airflow to help cool hardware. These brackets help to rectify some of that cooling inefficiency, by slightly altering the path of the incoming air so it has an easier flow-path when colliding with the PC cover opposite the intake fans. While they don't direct the air directly towards your motherboard, the new airpath greatly increases the efficiency that your exhaust fans can pull the fresh air across those hot components. Rather than the air being forced directly against a wall and experiencing a "mushroom" effect, the new angle will result in increased airflow velocity and less turbulence.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS FAN BRACKET IS INTENDED TO BE MOUNTED IN A SIDEWAYS CONFIGURATION AS SEEN IN THE IMAGES. ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL IT FACING UP OR DOWNWARDS WILL RESULT IN 2 OF THE 4 CASE SCREW HOLES NOT ALIGNING PROPERLY.
This product is designed for fitment with STANDARD 120mm or 140mm fans, not for "daisy-chained" interlocking fans such as the Phanteks D30 and Lian Li Uni fan lines. While users have reported successful fitment with these types of fans, please note that modification to the bracket MAY be required (i.e. minor trimming). For use with "closed frame" style fans, new screws will be necessary, as standard length fan screws will only be accessible by moving the screw into position through the frame of a standard "open frame" fan.Due to differences in many manufacturer's designs, there is no guarantee that these fans will fit your specific fan perfectly to spec. For example, a Lian Li fan may have slightly different dimensions than a Phanteks fan and while the bracket will be close regardless, there may be a slight (.5mm-1mm) variance in hole spacing, etc.
