Commodore PET 2001-8 in original condition. This model should have 8k of memory and it shows 8k when powered up. It also shows an "=" sign on the screen on power up. Keys on the main keyboard did not respond but I suspect this is because of issues with the numeric keypad. Using a pencil, I was able to active a few of the missing keys (see pictures) on the keypad. The keyboard will need some work.
The tape drive activates on power up. However, after that it does not respond. This will need some work.
On the left side of the computer is a rotary switch. It appears to be a volume control for a speaker that was added. However the speaker doesn't appear to be connected to the mainboard.
The mainboard appears to be complete. It's a bit dusty. It's a 40 year old computer so it will need maintenance at some point.Overall it's in nice original conidition but there are marks and scuffs on the case. Please see pictures.
Chiclet PETs are the original PETs and are getting harder to find. This example is in good original condition but needs some work to restore it. Although this item is currently partially functional, please consider it untested and as is.

The PET will be shipped in two boxes. The CRT will be removed and shipped in a separate box. You will need to reattach the CRT (four machine screws and connect one or two harnesses). If you are uncomfortable doing this, seek an electronics professional to assist you.
I am charging a flat rate to ship within Canada and the USA (Hawaii and Alaska would be additional cost).This is item fairly heavy, so shipping costs will be high. I will refund shipping costs >$10 difference between shipping paid vs my cost to ship.
