This is the original 8MHz variant (model 2550) which isn’t as common as the later 12MHz (2551) version. According to the serial it was manufactured in the 44th week of 1986! What’s amazing is this machine is completely original and was never upgraded. Even the original Microscience 20MB hard drive is still installed and working great! And the machine currently has 640KB of RAM.The machine is fully functional but the clock battery is dead and will need replacing. So you will have to run the setup on the first boot in order for it to boot from the hard drive.Also included is the original Operations Guide which has the original User Programs disk and even the floppy drive protector card in it! This machine is configured with an original Compaq VDU graphics adapter and it is currently configured to run with the original Compaq DSM monitor (the one shown is NOT INCLUDED). You can configure the card work with a standard CGA monitor as well. A standard 16-bit VGA card could also be installed in this machine no problem if you wanted.Sale is for the computer and manual only!
