Travel straight back to 2010 and the definitive golden era of turn-of-the-decade portable computing with an authentic, durable mobile workhorse: an original Toshiba Satellite L455 (Model L455-S5008 / PSLY0U-03P02P) 15.6" Widescreen Notebook PC running its factory-original Windows 7 Home Premium installation!

Having the original factory operating system installation makes this machine exceptionally desirable for collectors, archivists, and retro enthusiasts: all proprietary Toshiba motherboard chipset drivers, Intel GMA 4500M display acceleration, Realtek audio codecs, touchpad profiles, and factory utility suites (including Toshiba Bulletin Board and ReelTime) are completely native and fully configured out of the box—with zero missing driver yellow exclamation marks!

Finished in Toshiba’s classic "Silver Matrix" textured interior deck with contrasting matte black keyboard and silver display lid, the Satellite L455 was engineered for reliable everyday computing, media playback, and retro gaming. Powered by an authentic dual-core Intel Pentium Dual-Core Mobile Processor T4400 clocked at 2.20GHz (Penryn 45nm architecture, 1MB L2 cache, 800MHz FSB), 4.00 GB of high-speed DDR3 RAM (3.84 GB usable after video allocation), and an internal 250GB Toshiba SATA hard drive (Model: MK2555GSX / 222 GB formatted NTFS C: partition with over 173 GB of free space), this notebook boots cleanly and swiftly into an authentic installation of Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit (Service Pack 1)!

For retro PC gamers, vintage hardware collectors, and software archivists, an authentic bare-metal 64-bit Windows 7 machine is an essential bridge for running turn-of-the-millennium through early-2010s PC classics that run into modern OS DRM blocks, scaling glitches, or crash errors on Windows 10/11. Backed by integrated Intel GMA 4500M graphics, it effortlessly glides through era blockbusters like The Sims 2 & 3, Civilization IV, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, Portal, Half-Life 2, Left 4 Dead, Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle, StarCraft: Brood War, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, and classic PopCap titles.

Condition Notes

• Functional Condition: 100% bench-tested and fully operational. Boots cleanly and swiftly into its original factory installation of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with all drivers, Toshiba utilities, and desktop wallpaper active. The Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4400 2.20GHz processor runs cool and responsive, all 4GB of RAM test healthy, and the 250GB Toshiba SATA hard drive reads and writes cleanly with an intact partition structure. The 15.6" TruBrite display is bright, clear, and evenly illuminated with rich contrast. Keyboard keys, touchpad, USB ports, display output, audio jacks, and the optical burner function properly. Please note: As with all retro laptops, vintage lithium-ion battery cells degrade over time; batteries may not hold much of a charge anymore. The system operates reliably and smoothly when powered via the included AC power adapter.

• Cosmetic Condition: Great vintage condition overall. The silver outer lid, black textured chassis base, and silver keyboard deck are structurally solid with sturdy hinge tension and no cracked chassis plastic. Shows light, normal cosmetic surface marks, faint edge wear, and minor hairline scuffs on the outer casing consistent with careful home use and vintage age. The 15.6" display screen is clean and free of cracks. Original palm rest badges, retail feature sticker, bold black Toshiba lid emblem, and the underside regulatory label (Satellite L455-S5008 / PSLY0U-03P02P) remain intact and legible. Please review the high-resolution photos for an exact look at physical condition.
