ok, uploaded the editpost.php file again and this time it works. I kept a copy of the old one tho and you are right, it has the faq.php as its content <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
I ran across this more than once with other files in the upgrade.... something is seriously screwy with the setup there.
