Honestly, I'm not sure; Rick said that so long as the current implimentation works with 7.3 out of the box then theres a good possibility... Though i haven't been able to test it...
you can check out 7.3 alpha on my test site, where I'll be testing my tags sometime within the next couple of days.
I'm holding off porting over all of my styles until 7.3 beta; you know, to ensure I don't have to update a ton of styles a bunch of times ...
