I would edit the user account using PHPMyAdmin and make sure everything is ok in the database, manually change the password and then try logging in again to his account to see if that fixes the problem.
This sounds like a corruption in he member file in the data base.
Yes, but what to edit? And where would the corruption be? Is there a way to identify it? I don't need phpmyadmin (and don't have it installed) to edit the db, but I do need to have some idea of where to look.
I assume the problem is going to be in the _USERS table. When I look at the columns in that table and compare his information, it all looks quite normal.
