This sounds like a corruption in he member file in the data base.
Yes, but what to edit? And where would the corruption be? Is there a way to identify it? I don't need phpmyadmin (and don't have it installed) to edit the db, but I do need to have some idea of where to look.

I assume the problem is going to be in the _USERS table. When I look at the columns in that table and compare his information, it all looks quite normal.
