Yes, I take your point mate.
However with so many of my users having the same problem, it's me that has to disable it, not them.
I couldn't really risk them not being able to access the site in order to un-tick the box. Possibly if they had to work from home, they might not use the site at all.

Going back over the complaints, I see that users aren't (weren't) allowed access at all. They were redirected to another page explaining a 'security' issue.
