This evening looking through webserver logs, I see people logged into our Drupal web site, surfing our WordPress blog, and generating bazaar 404's such as for graphics which clearly are not on the refer page. So apparently it is not restricted to just UBB graphic phishing.
If you have thoughts as to what this could be, please speak up.
Meanwhile I will keep searching.
