Have you double checked the settings for the subscription group?
Also since you edited the actual PM link.
I assume you verified it is the same user?
Have you edited the price, duration,etc since the gold subscription was created?
That could cause a corruption with the existing subscription via paypal if that member subscribed prior to any edits.
