Can a perl license be transfered to a new owner ?

klausrasch,

If you purchased your W3T license from Rick, then you should be able to transfer it (if you stop using the software), since you are still under the previous license, which, if I recall correctly, does not contain any language preventing you from such a transfer.

quote:
And since perl seems to be going away can that license be upgraded or traded in for a php license ?

If you are interested in the PHP version of W3T, then I would recommend that you hang on to your license, since it also entitles you to use the PHP version of W3T. If you are a pre-Infopop license holder, you can also continue to update your software for a fee that is equal to 75% of the going renewal rate going at the time you renew. Your license terms do not change and you retain the same rights (multi-installs on one domain for example) that you had when you purchased W3T from Rick.

Let me know if you still want to sell. Perhaps we can arrange something
