After an unregistered user posts a topic or reply, when he/she next goes to post they have their unregistered name in the name box, but also a 4 character password.

What is the password <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ?

Probably "null". This shouldn't be happening, but I can't remember the cause/reason for it off the top of my head.

Have whoever clear their cookies using the UBB's clearcookie link in prefs, and see if this still happens.
