Hi,

I think that's not correct:

If you register a new user and use High-Bit Characters (for example German Umlaute like äüö) in the display name, then you can't register.

Example
user: versuch
display-name: versüch

I'm using UBB.classic 6.4.0.1
setting: High-Bit-Characters in username not allowed
URL: http://www.oase.com/forum/

Regards
Johannes

If you disallow high-bit characters in usernames, then any new usernames or changed PDNs with high-bit characters will be invalid.

This is a feature, not a bug.
