Is it possible to change the SMTP port number? I run UBB.Classic on the same computer as our SMTP server, so I need the outbound SMTP port to be 26 instead of the default 25. I'm sure this is a common scenario so someone must know how to do it. Thanks.

That shouldn't affect the forum, give it a shot and let me know if it still sends emails.

Our incomming mail goes to port 25 which is our mail security software, email is then forwarded to port 26 which is our smtp server software. In order to prevent our smtp server from being an open relay we have to block connections from 127.0.0.1 at port 25. I need UBB to send email to 127.0.0.1 at port 26. I was hoping there is a cgi file or something I can edit to change the smtp port. I am using UBB.Classic 6.3.1.1. Thanks.

Your server shouldn't have to be left open as an open relay.
