I have seen this error (warning?) message pop up in the header when I approve someone.



I have also found out the users are not getting emails. I am getting emails, but my account is "local" to the SMTP server and accepts mails "to" me.

At least this is what I am thinking. I can get mail as either the admin or as a user and they have different email addresses, but they are "local" to me. The other users are not.

Any ideas?

I found out the issue.

We use a Lumisoft email server and for some reason it doesn't like the 172.0.0.1 address. We do have a security setting letting in specific IP ranges and I added this IP (127.0.0.1) in (localhost) and it still wouldn't work.

I changed it to the local address of the server (192.168.1.x or 10.x.x.x, etc.) and it is now sending out emails.

So, if you are using a Lumisoft email server, this is a work around.
