Hello,

when I move a thread from one board to another, it happens that source and target board have a wrong "last post" date. (at least when I moved the youngest thread)

In high traffic boards this shouldn't be a big problem. But it is a problem in low-traffic boards. So I would love to have an admin feature to "update all last post dates". Would this be possible?

You can see a sample of this behaviour in my forums:
<A HREF="http://www.commtalk.de/cgi-bin/wwwthreads/wwwthreads.pl?Cat=13" target="_new">http://www.commtalk.de/cgi-bin/wwwthreads/wwwthreads.pl?Cat=13</A>
Just look at the "Windows NT & Windows 2000" board. It shows a last post date of 3/25/00, but most messages there are from a younger date.

Thank you very much.

The same problem applies when a post gets deleted. I wish there was the option on low volume boards to automatically correct the date/time for both of these. Shouldn't there be a way to add a routine to search for the newest post on that board and update the date from there?
