Scream, if you decide to give an option for halting a poll after a certain amount of time in the next version, it might be good to also have an option to disallow viewing the poll results until the poll is closed. This would allow polling to be done without people being influenced by the votes of others (lemmings). I don't know if there would be much demand for such an option or not.
P.S. When creating a new post, the "Subject" input box is awfully short.
