I would really like the option of moving a copy of a thread to another forum.
We have a tech tip forum, where we take the 'best of', and send it over there.
However, people search for these in the old forum, and can't find them. Would love to have a duplicate option.

You can do this in 6.5. You'd need to use the move topics feature, then narrow down your search to get a small subset of topics and then just select the topic(s) that you want to copy and then check the "Do not alter original topics" checkbox.
