I just tried to upgrade from Trial to Licensed. Upgrade got stuck on a "nonexistent subroutine error"---I've filed a ticket.
But I anticipate another problem later, because I overwrote my VAR files when I ftp'd the upgrade file set.
AFTER overwriting them, I came to the instruction "Never overwrite vars files unless directed to..."
THIS WARNING SHOULD OCCUR **BEFORE** THE INSTRUCTION THAT TELLS US TO UPLOAD THE VARIABLES FILES, NOT TWO PARAGRAPHS LATER.

When you look at step 6 it says

I would say that the directions are pretty accurate there.
