When installing UBB Classic where should I put the "Members" folder? In the cgi-bin folder?

If so, and it is not already there, can I use FTP to move it and then just change the path in "Paths & URLs" of the control panel?

There are 2 places best set to hold the members directory. The cgi-bin, as if anyone tries to access the file directly, it'll be executed and the user will only see an ISE. The other is any folder above the webroot, so the file wouldn't be accessible from anywhere but ftp

I have mine in the same folder as the non cgi folder and cbi-bin folders. What I did was install the whole forum in its own folder on the server. So in that folder there are 3 folders, cgi-bin, members, and my non cgi folder. Not really sure what you mean by "above the webroot". Should I relocate it?

If I relocate the members folder, I know to change its path in the control panel, do I need to rebuild anything? Thanks

the Members folder should be inside the cgi-bin. If I knew the url to the forums, I could easily get access to your admin account.

Change it's path and rebuild for the heck of it, just in case.
