Up until recently I have been manually deleting topics from my Bulletin Board by simply clicking on the "Delete Topic" at the bottom of a particular thread, then going into my control panel and re-indexing.
However as the board has grown so much, this week for the first time I tried the automatic "Prune by date"
What shocked me was how many threads came up on the "Prune Messages" Preview Page (ie the page that allows you to exclude threads from being pruned" that I'm 100% sure I had already previously manually deleted.

If you do a search for the thread title "Queen Mum Dead" it odesn't exist on my site, yet its there?

Head over to your control panel, enter General Display settings - scroll to the bottom. Ensure the checkbox labled like "Recount forum topics" is checked, and submit. Once the process is complete, try a prune again - are the deleted topics still listed?

If so, run a Rebuild Threads - do the topics come back from the dead?
