hi everyone,

i did something pretty stupid. i deleted an an entire forum folder during the latest upgrade. i did find a local backup copy of the forum files ... however, just the html files, not the cgi files. is there a way to import the html files into the forum or to convert those html files into cgi then move them into the forum folder?

even if i can only move them into an archive that would be fine. it's two years worth of discussion. i would really like to keep it if it is possible.

Someone DID develop a script that could convert a stock UBB .html file back into a thread .cgi file, but I don't recall which thread it was mentioned in, or if the script was available or suitable for public use.

could you please help me find this? i have scoured all the support boards including ubbdev.com and ubbhackers.com and could not find it. this would be really valuable to me and other geeks out there like me who may have made the same mistake.
