Hi,

I am using 6.3.0.1 and when a post that contains [img] [/img] codes is edited. the html is left in place and not replaced with the [img] stuff.

When the users save the edit, the stait html is displayed and dosn't work.

[URL] codes work fine.

If anyone can shed any light on this issue i would be greatefull.

Would this answer satisfy you?

You have intentionally altered the way the script works - we can not predict how the scripts will behave with the modifications. Once you install a single code hack, you prevent us from helping you fix any problems that may occur.

Your code hacks have broken the routines that properly decode the [img] tag. There is nothing that we can do about this other than tell you to go back to clean scripts, as I advised in the support ticket.

You didn't answer my question.

I don't wish to turn this into an issue but feel I must point out the following.

The reply to the ticket stated that I have added a few UBBCodes to my board, I have in fact added one ubb code to the Signature section.

Your reply in this topic stated that "this turned out to be related to a number of hacks installed".

Now I fully expected the reply to tell me that I have hacks installed and that you could not help, but I would have thought you might have pointed me in a better direction than just returning the board to a stock condition.

I know your an active member of the ubbdev website, and as you often give advice on the hacks developed there I would have thought you could at least have gotten the two reports to match.

I am very disappointed in your responses, considering the cost of this package and the fact that we have to install so many of these hacks to bring UBB even close to some of the FREE bbs's available.
