I'm running UBB 6.7.0

Whenever I attempt to search for members via Control Panel / Member Management / View-Edit Members, the result is always the same~

"No members matched the criteria you entered. Please try a more general query."

The user names I am serching for are known current members.

Before I do...one more question please~

I noticed I have a member file that's corrupt and unfortunately, I have a backup but it's also corrupt.

Will I still be able to perform the Rebuild with a currupt Member file?

If not can I simply delete the corrupt member file before I attempt the rebuild?

Well, it depends on how corrupt it is. Could you elaborate?

The size of the Member file is 0 bytes. I'd say it's as currupt as it gets.

In any event, I'm not so concerned with that particular member as I am rebuilding my member metadata. I need to do this asap so I can search / edit / delete...etc from the control panel. Right now I'm not able to successfully seach for members via the control panel.

There are a few other things that could cause this issue, and a few of them are solved in 6.7.2. If the rebuild doesn't help, upgrading will be the next step.

Can I run the rebuild with the corrupted member file or should I delete the corrupt file then rebuild?

if it's blank it's not in use and thus not needed, delete any currupted data. Note that only the 0 byte member file(s) should be purged.
