I'm trying to create a list by searching
members who have been have been active since a soecific date. I have 4215 members but I don't seem to get a higher active amount than 2283 nomatter wich date I search. I can see that some members miss their Last active note
example
Last Active: --
Last Post: --
Last IP: --
Reg IP: 209.197.129.19
Reg Date: December 11, 2005
Can you please explain what creats a last active log? Have 2283 members registred and revisited but the others who registred never returned???

Last Active is updated when a user visits the board for the first time that day.
If a user hasn't visited the board since we started tracking Last Active (6.6?), or hasn't visited since registering (more accurately, hasn't made another pageview since registering and getting the registration confirmation screen), then the Last Active field will be blank.
As you've noticed, blank Last Active dates can cause some odd search results when searching for the field.
And your guess is likely correct, based on when you upgraded to the recent versions. If you've been using 6.6/6.7 for a few months, then the count is likely accurate.
It's not abnormal to have a high number of inactive users.

Have one more question.
I have about 4215 members but when I create an email list I get only 2400 some emails in the created list.
I know that after a while I change settings to allow only one login per email address. But it seems not likely that so many have double or even triple accounts.
Do you have any clue what might cause a so low amounts in the email list?

Also may be due to the "Allow admins to contact me" option in effect...

There's actually a subtle bug that can bite certain boards, especially REALLY old ones, that can cause smaller than expected mass mail lists. We'll be fixing this bug in the next maintenance release.
