This may be slightly off topic but I am hoping someone has figured out something similar...

I would like to add a news feed to my forum which pulls news stories for a specific topic. I currently subscribe to the Google News Service and each day I get an HTML email with a list of news stories related to a topic I supplied. I would like to do something like that on my forum. I can't get the Google email I receive to post properly (all the HTML links die) and I don't think I can do that legally anyway. I would be willing to pay a fee for a decent news service, but again, I don't think Google sells there's.

Has anyone found something similar that they have used?

I think Google (and most news sites in general now adays) supply their users with an RSS Feed to their news; it'd be as simple as integrating an RSS Feed Reader into your forums.

I think at one time (during beta) there was an RSS Feed Reader addon for the UBB but I think after it got broken during one of the upgrades it never got worked on again.
