After checking my sites calendar for January, a birthday for a banned user showed up. I went into the user's profile and made the birthday private so it wouldn't show and then cleared the boards cache so it would go away quickly.
Shouldn't the birthday not show as a default after being banned? Or would it make more sense to instead just delete the user so there's no trace and no viewable profile left behind?

IMO, if the user is banned, their birthday should not show; i'd consider this a bugglett...

But it becomes tricky - we had a longtime member pass away a few months ago, and I removed the account's access rights to prevent anyone from posting under his username. Yet, at the same time I want his name to remain in Top Posters and in the Calendar for his birthday (which it does).
Whenever I ban a user, I uncheck a lot of other things in their profile besides just access rights -- a tiny additional step for the rare times you'll be banning someone.

Perhaps an option for both. 1. Remove all remnants of the user except the name to keep track of the ban. 2. Only disable checked items for banned user.
